Hi‚ I’m Kat‚ the founder of Painless Pregnancy. I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in the pregnant and postpartum woman. I graduated from the University of Florida in 2005 with a Bachelor’s of Health Science and in 2008 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I have extensive experience in orthopedic and neurological disorders for people of all ages. My true passion was born when I specialized in obstetrics in 2013 at Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville‚ FL. Since then, it has been my heart’s desire to focus my career on the pregnant and postpartum woman. I have enhanced my expertise with specialty trainings from Herman & Wallace, Pelvic Pain Relief, and Institute for Birth Healing.
I am also a daughter‚ a wife‚ a mother to two beautiful children‚ a sister to five amazing people‚ and a Christian. My intentions for this company stem from my favorite verse in Proverbs: “Commit your works to the Lord‚ and your plans will succeed.”
My name is Katie, and I am excited to be a part of the Painless Pregnancy team. I graduated from the University of Florida in 2011 with my Bachelor’s in Health Education and Behavior and from the University of Miami in 2015 with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I have been treating patients of all age ranges and diagnoses, mostly in hospital-based outpatient orthopedic settings, since that time. My passion for treating the pregnant and postpartum population heightened as I watched many women suffer treatable and preventable diagnoses associated with this amazing stage of life. It is my goal to see physical therapy as a standard of care for women after giving birth, so that every women may live her best life postpartum.
